  1. Kundan Lal Saigal popularly known as K L Saigal.... Indian singer and actor who is considered the first superstar of the Hindi film industry, which was centered in Calcutta during Saigal's time, but is currently centered in Mumbai
  2. Ashok Kumar he attained iconic status in Indian cinema. He broke from the theatrical style then common in Indian film towards a more naturalistic method. Given his versatility and proven brilliance over five decades, he is considered by many to be one of the finest ever Indian actor
  3. Prithviraj Kapoor He was also the patriarch of the Kapoor family of Hindi films, five generations of which family, beginning with him, have played active roles in Hindi film industry.
  4. Dilip Kumar He was the first actor to receive a Filmfare Best Actor Award and holds the record for most number of Filmfare Awards won for that category along with Shahrukh Khan with 8 wins
  5. Raj Kapoor  also known as The Show-Man, was anIndian film actorproducer and director of Hindi cinema.[
